Cyclon stood out with dynamism at the Acropolis Rally 2025!
Cyclon, together with the 2024 WRC3 Champions Diego Dominguez and Rogelio Penate, wrote another great chapter at this year’s Acropolis Rally, climbing the podium and securing 3rd place in both WRC3 and Junior WRC, behind the wheel of the M-Sport Poland Ford Fiesta Rally3.
Diego Dominguez did not hide his enthusiasm: “We reached the finish line of one of the toughest events in the World Championship! We faced many difficulties but stayed strong and finished 3rd in WRC3 and Junior WRC. We are extremely happy with this result, and I want to thank Cyclon for their unwavering support. I hope we continue together in the future.”
It is no coincidence that the Acropolis Rally is considered one of the hardest rounds of the World Championship. This year’s event, held from June 26 to 29, maintained a high level of difficulty with its rough, rocky road surface and extremely high temperatures, especially during the first two days, putting crews and vehicles to the test.
In this environment, values such as reliability, endurance, selflessness, and dynamism stand out as primary characteristics, qualities that Cyclon consistently represents by combining innovation with cutting-edge technology.
The crew, competing for the 4th consecutive year on Greek soil, started strong, posting the second-best time in WRC3 and Junior WRC during the Thursday, June 26, super special stage.
With deep knowledge of the Acropolis Rally’s demands, Dominguez-Penate showed caution the next day, Friday, June 27, when repair opportunities were limited, finishing the day in 2nd place in WRC3 and 3rd in Junior WRC as they returned to Lamia.
Saturday brought the challenges: engine overheating and a broken suspension tie rod threatened their progress, but the crew kept their spirits high and, with quick repairs, managed to hold onto 3rd place in WRC3 despite some time losses.
Then Sunday, the day of the great comeback! With three fastest times in WRC3 and one more in Junior WRC, Dominguez and Penate finished the race impressively, securing 3rd place despite the adverse conditions.
With this success, Diego Dominguez and Rogelio Penate proved that with dedication and passion, they can overcome any obstacle and excel in the most demanding special stages of the World Rally Championship, demonstrating that Cyclon combines endurance and high performance in their ultimate expression!
